I dpwnloaded it and tried to install it. It got through the preparation stage and locked up. I killed it. Now rpm -qa does not work; rpm -Va does not work. I guess rpm no longer works. I am

try (as root) 'rm /var/lib/rpm/__*' and see if rpm works.


frustrated. Any suggestions?
