No problem with chkrootkit rpm, is a rpm problem itself. Kill all rpm processes. Then go to /var/lib/rpm and delete the three __db files. Try again HTH Aaron Konstam <akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxx>@redhat.com con fecha 13/10/2003 16:51:53 Por favor, responda a shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx Enviado por: shrike-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx Destinatarios: shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx CC: Asunto: frustration with chkrootkit rpm Recently it was suggested that one install the chkrootkit rpm from: http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/9/i386/RPMS.stable/chkrootkit-042-0.fdr.1.b.rh9.i386.rpm I dpwnloaded it and tried to install it. It got through the preparation stage and locked up. I killed it. Now rpm -qa does not work; rpm -Va does not work. I guess rpm no longer works. I am frustrated. Any suggestions? -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxx -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
