Is there a way to include multibyte string support easily (no recompile
from source) to the php rpm that was included with Red Hat 9?
Is there a rpm available that includes multibyte string support?
When I was using PHP recently it worked just fine with UTF-8 strings. There's also access to iconv in PHP which gives you the full set of character set conversions in glibc, and believe me, that's a lot of conversions -- I used quite a few of them!
