Not only that, but I bet my scrolling  muscles are firm and attract women

Perhaps I did miss the point of the discussion.  On the other hand, recall
that I said "I am _inclined_ to say I will not read bottom posts..." which
is not at all the same as saying 'I refuse to read' something.  In many if
not all of my previous posts, I have followed convention.

Many opinions have been expressed here in this thread.  I have expressed
mine.  I still believe that because something is honored by convention or
tradition does not always mean it makes sense to everyone, or for everyone.

I don't believe personal attacks exemplify good netiquette, but one such
message (not yours) was just directed at me.  Whence 'netiquette?'

And yes, Steve, you are exactly right.  The muscles of my forearms, wrists
and fingers are badly atrophied. That notwithstanding, I am 72, and
attracting women is no longer a huge concern of mine <g>.
