That makes sense to me. But it is not
followed on many lists outside the computer users context. Hence the
argument with my wife.

This drove me to google and looking up sites for e-mail  etiquette and
that rule is just not found. Any one know where to find it?

an additional link you might find useful regarding formatting of email, top and bottom posting, how much to quote etc.


i apologize if it has already been included in this thread, i did not notice it in the 10 or so replies i read on this
