Re: eth0 device not present

I'm going to ask a stupid question. Is this 3COM on the docking station or a 
PCMCIA? If on the dock, is the a/c adapter powering the docking station or 
are you on battery. I get this error if I don't have AC power to my dock 
because the battery doesn't seem to power it.
