depmod -ae showed nothing. locate r128_drv I get
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.o
Any more ideas?
Oops. Sorry r128_drv isn't a kernel module anyway. I don't get that error on my RH9 system with a Rage128 video card. The r128_drv loads just fine. Those drm* symbols are undefined in that file, but they seem to get resolved somewhere else.
The r128_drv.o file is part of XFree86-4.3.0-2 on my system -- I suggest running "rpm --verify XFree86" to make sure all the files are right. I've attached the /etc/X11/XF86Config file I have on my system so that you can compare and contrast it with yours to see if there's a problem there. Bear in mind that mine comes from an upgrade from 7.3 so there are quite likely to be marked differences.
