The license is non-transferable so you will not be able to redistribute copies of the CD's. Since forbidding copies of RH cd's would upset too many people (due to many more licensing requirements) it is much better from legal, political and economical points of view to simple drop MP3 support. Are you really so upset with RH just because of "minor" issues like lack of mp3 support or wine with some changes that broke your use of wine?
