The only workaround to this stupid policy in which one abdicates the
rights granted by the licenses on most software is to buy the CD and
recompiling the SRPMS that are published on the updates site.

All I wanted was the EoL of AS for downloading updates.
Why won't RedHat have a pricing of say... $2499/year for an account that
only grants one thing to the costumer: timely access to the updates.

I don't want phone assistance, 12x5 or 24x7. Just the updates.

We'd pay for that. Unfortunately, RedHat France never answered me back.
