ok, how about trying the same url from cups?The printer is working and can print successessfully from an XP machine, using the URI http://192.168.0.12/lp1
I hadn't felt it necessary to post the fact that I had tried that obvious conclusion. It doesn't work from linux box.
a small obvious mistake somewhere.
Do you have a guess as to the proper URL to insert in cups config or not?
