Cups addressing scheme... which one?

For the umpth time when setting up a printer I'm flummoxed by cups
addressing scheme. What should my URL look like in this setting:

I have an epson printer connected to a 3 port print server. Its a
parrallel connection from server to printer. The print server
address is 192.168.0.13

When walking thru the cups config I'm presented with these suggested
URI's

    file:/path/to/filename.prn
    http://hostname:631/ipp/
    http://hostname:631/ipp/port1
    ipp://hostname/ipp/
    ipp://hostname/ipp/port1
    lpd://hostname/queue
    socket://hostname
    socket://hostname:9100

These examples are nearly useless near as I can tell. There isn't
enough there to make a good guess.
I've tried a number of possibilities. Using both HTTP and IPP.

Printer name is EP
ipp://192.168.0.13:631/EP

Cups seems to be talking to the printer. No error is thrown but the
access log shows:

localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:41:21 -0500] "GET /printers/EP?op=print-test-page HTTP/1.1" 200 1529
localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:44:32 -0500] "GET /cups.css HTTP/1.1" 304 0
localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:44:36 -0500] "GET /cups.css HTTP/1.1" 304 0
localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:44:38 -0500] "GET /cups.css HTTP/1.1" 304 0
localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:44:39 -0500] "GET /cups.css HTTP/1.1" 304 0
localhost - root [15/Sep/2003:22:44:39 -0500] "GET /cups.css HTTP/1.1" 304 0

No printing happens however.

The printer is working and can print successessfully from an XP
machine, using the URI
http://192.168.0.12/lp1

Can anyone clue me in on how to get the URI right?
