For the umpth time when setting up a printer I'm flummoxed by cups
addressing scheme. What should my URL look like in this setting:

I have an epson printer connected to a 3 port print server. Its a
parrallel connection from server to printer. The print server
address is 192.168.0.13

which one of the three parallel ports is the printer hooked to?
what does the print server manual say its capabilities are?
if it is new and will do ipp, that's great. more likely it will do
lpd and at a minimum handle a socket.

The printer is working and can print successessfully from an XP
machine, using the URI http://192.168.0.12/lp1

ok, how about trying the same url from cups?

Can anyone clue me in on how to get the URI right?
