I'm getting many instances of these messages:[snip]
Aug 25 15:28:46 orpheus kernel: SPOOFED-IP: IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=
Were you worried about the words "SPOOFED-IP"? It looks like "SPOOFED-IP" might just be the --log-prefix you assigned to log messages. Correct me if I'm wrong :)
Unfortunately, neither do I, which is why the question was so nebulous. The message seems to indicate a problem. I just don't know what or how serious. What info can I provide to help?
Were you worried about the ip address? Were you worried about the port (samba uses 137, 138, 139 and 445)
I'm not quite sure what to address here...
Mine's named after the Mardi Gras parade krewe. Where did you get your name? ;)
btw, nice hostname: $ uname -a Linux orpheus 2.4.20-20.9 #1 Mon Aug 18 11:45:58 EDT 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Thanks!
