I'm getting many instances of these messages:

Aug 25 15:28:46 orpheus kernel: SPOOFED-IP: IN=eth1 OUT= MAC= SRC=192.168.123.19 DST=192.168.0.255 LEN=249 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=138 DPT=138 LEN=229

Given that I'm behind a firewall, I suspect it means I've screwed up my network configuration. Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

Assuming that 192.168.123.19 is actually a system behind your firewall, you can either tell the firewall to drop those packets, silently, or you can tell the firewall to accept those packets.

192.168.123.19 is the address of orpheus. Orpheus has two interfaces, to which I've assigned 192.168.123.19 and 192.168.0.19. The 123 network is the one currently hooked to a router. The 0 network has no connection currently.

Sorry for the nebulous questions. Firewalling is an area inwhich I am woefully ignorant. What other info do I need to provide to get help with this problem?

Thanks!

Andrew
