Nautilus won't let view a folder: I selected View->View as->View as Catalog for a particular directory. Nautilus then told me "The Catalog view encountered an error while starting up." and the folder stayed in 'icon view'. The next time I attempted to open the folder, Nautilus said again "The Catalog view encountered an error while starting up." and wouldn't let me open the folder. I can't change the view back to 'icon view' because I can't get in there!! How do I tell the *$&% of a program to forget all the views I've selected and just default to icon view?
