learning linux

I have had numerous RH distributions and am almost
a novice. I can do maintainence items, installing
distros, screwing up and fixing, some kernel work.

I have found this list to be far more than just a
resource for when I get into trouble. Reading these
lists can give a person quite an education.

I am unfamiliar with many of the terms, acronyms,
programs and applications mentioned on this list.
PAM, LDAP, MX servers and scores of others.

Is there a Linux dictionary/encyclopedia that can
give one a definition and a short explanation of these
things?

I am currently working my way through "Rute users
Tutorial and Expostion " but that may take a year or
longer.

                       TIA
