something like: append initrd=initrd.img lang= devfs=nomount ramdisk_size=8192 vga=788 ks=nfs:host.mydomain.com:/redhat/ks.cfg
but with your network driver on the second disk, you will need to hack the first disk to include the drivers. I'm not sure how to do this, but I know it's possible to add your own custom driver.
Better yet, modify the isolinux.cfg file and create a bootable cd. It has more drivers.
Make sure you ks.cfg file has a line like this: nfs --server host.mydomain.com --dir /redhat

Has anyone successfully kickstarted shrike using an NFS based ks file? I must be doing something wrong, but can't seem to get the kickstart going (always goes into a manual install).
Here's what I did:
- made a floppy from bootdisk.img - made a floppy from drvnet.img - have a DHCP and NFS server which contains the RedHat image as well as a ks.cfg file (which was created by anaconda)
I boot off of bootdisk, and type linux ks=nfs:host.mydomain.com:/redhat/ks.cfg but this goes into the normal install. Since the drivers for the network card are on the second disk, I tried the command line:
linux updates ks=nfs:host.mydomain.com:/redhat/ks.cfg to no avail.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Eric
