Which brings me to the second question. How would I search the mailing list for past discussions? Wending my way through the mailing list pages at Red Hat, it appears the best I can do is look through all the messages a month at a time. I cannot find a way to request "Show me discussions on this subject". Can it be done? How?

Andrew,

just one suggestion for the next time. Searching by subject, and even
more making actual sense of the messages once you have found them, is
much faster and simpler if subjects don't mix totally unrelated
subjects.

This was discussed just last week here. Look for these threads:

Globe Trotter, please stop messing up threads
RFC-1855, Time, Money, and this email list
of Hijacked Threads, Top Posts, and other things

The reason I combined the two was because I figured the answer to the first question was going to be to look for the recent discussion. But my second question remains. How do I search the mailing list for threads or subjects?

Andrew
