On Friday 08 August 2003 08:19, Andrew Robinson uttered: > Here's the actual question: what are the differences between cdroast and > cdrecord? Why would I want to use one over the other? "cdroast" is most likely "Xcdroast" that you're thinking of, which is a X11 based graphical front end to the "cdrecord" cd burning backend. cdrecord can be used by itself from the command line to burn CDs. Xcdroast is just one of many graphical front ends to it. Without cdrecord, there would be no Xcdroast. -- Jesse Keating RHCE MCSE http://geek.j2solutions.net Mondo DevTeam (www.mondorescue.org) Was I helpful?
