I have downloaded a cpl of .png files from
http://art.gnome.org/themes/splash_screens/index.php?sort_by=date&thumbnails_per_page=1000.

Next to this is a list of GDM Chooser themes. Try one of these? Failing both of the above, you may have to copy the gdm theme you want to change the b/g of, and edit it to use your new b/g.
