The only fly in the ointment for me is not-so-nice photo printing. It works, and quite well, but it seems ... 'grubbier' somehow compared to the Epson 'Doze drivers.
It's the one thing I haven't tried yet ... However, I do know that the gimp's printing subsystem addresses different problems to the normal print subsystem and you may well have more luck going down that route. Straightforward printing of images winds up making compromises you don't want to make when you're printing photos which is why the gimp does it's own thing. Mind you, a lot of what the gimp did/does has made its way into the standard print model -- another case of freedom driving development forward.
