Hi Andrew,
Just get the nforce drivers from nvidia and install them. That will give you usb, sound and a working nvidia nic (3Com nic is supported out of the box). Did just that today and works fine for me although nvidia off course needs to open those drivers :) The things that aren't working are lm_sensors (but the needed module is in lm_sensors cvs for the adventurous) and agpgart if you want to plug e.g. an Ati videocard into an nforce(2) mobo and get decent 3D hardware acceleration. Nvidia has released an agpgart patch but you will need to build a new kernel yourself and from experience I can tell you that it is not easy to integrate it into an existing Red Hat kernel srpm. Hopefully the forthcoming Red Hat beta will have the agpgart patch and lm_sensors support included. I doubt it RH will include any binary drivers from nvidia.
Regards, Patrick
