The culprit was flash-plugin-6.0.79-1.  Removing the link to that flash
plugin and replacing it with the ones that shipped in the Netscape RPM
solves the problem.  Of course, that version of flash is way old, but I
only need Netscape for a couple of sites and they don't run flash.
