I need to move my / to another partition. I'd like to know how I should do it. I've / on a partion and /usr on another partition, and a free partition. I want to move / to the free partition. I serached google but found out only how to move around /home /var or /tmp. I use grub as bootloader.

I think you ought to take a look at partition image <www.partimage.org/> as the tool for the job. You will need to edit the grub.conf file afterward to point to the new /boot location, but that is pretty straightforward
