I have googled and hit the docs and haven't discovered whore and how I
can turn on apm on boot. My machine hangs at the same place in the boot
sequence.
I know (at least I think I know) there is a way to pass a command via
grub to the kernel to avoid loading a module, especially apm, but I
can't find it.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
