The gnupg package you have installed doesn't actually look like
a freshrpms package.

Download the gnupg-1.2.1-4.i386.rpm from an ftp mirror and run
the command "rpm -Uvh gnupg-1.2.1-4.i386.rpm" .
Problem solved.
