The Nvidia installer script is correct, he's using gcc from rawhide. So it's correct to complain that the compiler doesn't match the one used to build the kernel. The gcc included with the release was: $ whichcd -v 9 gcc-3 CD-2:gcc-3.2.2-5.i386.rpm - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+x/tJn/07WoAb/SsRAiRmAKCxNikOV8dRmhsEGgp3TgM1qZsucgCfW/+c hccLoeJ2mz/UzLjhBfNpdYs= =CS8x -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
