RE: Squid start-up

Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux :-). Unfortunately sometimes docs
are behind. I know I banged my head with this too and figured it out on my
own through examining logs and playing with the squid.conf. I am just glad
it works.

I followed your advice and it seems to be working: I can't understand 
why we had not to set the visible_hostname in squid.conf in RH8.0 and I 
can't find instruction on RH manuals.
