installing TuxRacer *with* sound support...

I removed Tux Racer, since previous comments in the list mentions
that it was compiled without sound support. Would installing the source
(from the Shrike CD's) provide sound support, or do I have to pass
specific parameters when installing ...?

I've tried the workaround previously mentioned on the list (for the default
"pre-installed" version), but had no success finding the varia (links, etc.)
required to get it working.

A look in rawhide doesn't show any newer version than tuxracer-0.61-19,
which was the on that I ghad *removed* from the system.

TIA,

Elton
