Ok .First i thought i was nuts then i cranked up the volume.. I got a gateway and im logged in through ssh,from that command line ( on the gateway ) i started Opera web browser.. and O Surprise ! when i move the mouse ( a MS Intellimouse ( version 1 the white ) around in Opera, you can hear ticks becoming noise when i move it fast enough .. it's like static off an old vinyl record. As soon as i get off that screen and into the terminal it's ok noise disappears.. Rebooted still the same.. im lost.. Sound card is Sound Blaster Alsa is alsa-driver 0.9.3 It's the only time when i get that noise.Makes me wonder why that is so. Ideas ? Ric
