I run shrike on a a31p thinkpad with a pcmcia modem, which is recognized by the system. But the dial-up doesn't work any more (worked great in shrike)! When I choose "activate" in network, the dial-up dialog pops up, but no dialing can be heared (sound enabled) and the dialog box stays open, until it is closed manually, then popping up an error box saying something like ppp0 error thanks for any help christoph -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ Bitte lächeln!
