Or better yet, just use the package installer;

Main Menu -->System Settings-->Add/Remove Applications

(I'm using KDE, but there's a package installer under Gnome as well)

and for what it's worth, I think like this:

This mailing list is a bunch of Red Hat users all helping each other.  None of 
us gets paid for our knowledge, wisdom, or occasional silly remarks.  I don't 
think being rude is going to make folks want to go out of their way to help 
you.

By the way, not that I expect you to care or anything, but your poor 
capitalization / punctuation and excessive use of abbreviations and smiley 
faces is highly annoying.
