Ok, I know the original Mozilla/Java ordeal has been put through
the ringer on this list quite a bit. But now I have a new problem.
Just installed Ximian Desktop 2, along with the Mozilla and Galeon
that came with it. And it seems that none of the java plugins work
with either. I've tried the sun jre, along with the sdk, the blackdown
version, even the version that comes from the netscape ftp site
(the xpi). I have linked the to mozilla/plugins mozilla-1.2.1 and
mozilla-1.3.1, hell I even slapped a link into a $HOME/.mozilla/plugin
directory. If anyone else has any other info with this little problem,
I would be glad to hear about it.
