Depends on how you've set up mail on your system (sendmail and procmail,
or postfix, etc), but presumably one easy way would be to create
/root/.forward containing the line

rrigo@xxxxxxxxx

Add

fetchmail -d 300

to your ~/.bash_profile (that will fetch your mail every 300 seconds,
i,e. every 5 minutes), and

fetchmail -q

to your ~/.bash_logout
