Hmm, well if you want to know the truth, I didn't realize that 2.5.73-bk8 (or any 2.5.x kernel) has trouble with RAID. How's that for kernel ignorance? But the experience has wised me up. I've moved all my 2.5 experiments to a different machine that doesn't use RAID. Maybe I'll look for a spare hard disk to see if I can run RAID on it... As to the mailing list -- that list has a really nasty black background that doesn't render well in my Mozilla. The lines are almost unreadable. I'll give it a little more looking over though.
