Thanks for that informative "newbieized" tutorial on vi (of which I was
terribly scared to use!). However, I managed to do the editing by invoking
mc (Midnight Commander) from runlevel 3. I find it's more"user-freindly"
(read: "newbie/dummy - friendly), for editing files.

Your advice will be preciously garded nonetheless in my trove of useful
linux commands, utilies.

I now have the nvidia drivers installed (via the downloaded NVIDIA~.run)
file. Now I can run Tuxracer full screen without the staggering mouse
pointer!
