Looks like that made no difference, it seems to die / stop doing anything once it has loaded the 1394 driver, just sits there on the blue screen with a "Welcome to Red Hat Linux" in the top left... *sigh* of course based on the fact it seems to be getting no where I'm guessing that even from scratch install will fail -- David Smith <dave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
