Yes, it was working 100%.  And "fdisk -l" looks 100% ok.

That's what I thought.  I already did

grub-install /dev/hda6 (that's my linux boot partition)

No, I don't.  Can I not do this using the install cd and "linux rescue"?  Thanks.
