This has been asked before - you may find answers in the archives (see the
URL at the bottom of this post).

But in short, you install kernel-source-<version>.i386.rpm, which installs
source to /usr/src/linux-<version> (with symlinks to linux and/or linux-2.4)

Each time an update is provided, you'll need to recompile. You'll probably
be able to copy your .config file from one source tree to another, but you
will need to rebuild for your options each time.

As for kernel.org, The patches go the other way. Red Hat takes a stock
kernel, and patches their stuff against it.  You could install the *.src.rpm
which would give you the stock tree as well as *every* patch. This would,
however, be rather resource intensive, and I'd begin to question the rewards...
