For $179/year, you get the basic EW subscription. This has no server tools - no bind, no dhcpd, nada. It's a desktop. For $349/year, you get ES which is essentially what used to be called Advanced Server but without the high availability cluster components. No phone support is included for either the $179 or $349 options. Of course, no phone support is included with a standard Windows purchase either. Advanced Server competes more with Windows 2000 Data Center (I think - I'm not a Windows guy). AS, as it's now known, starts at $1499/year but also gives you SLAs, web and phone support. -- Ed Wilts, Mounds View, MN, USA mailto:ewilts@xxxxxxxxxx Member #1, Red Hat Community Ambassador Program
