Re: Totally frustrated with CD Burning!

Thanks for sticking up for me.

Aside from being (appropriately, IMHO)referred to as snotty and elitist,
these two are also 100% wrong in what they said. Reference the other
post I just made showing the md5sums from various other things I have
tried.

...And thanks to those of you who are really and honestly trying to
help! Yes, I teach *both* Windows and Linux in the evenings. I have run
Red Hat (and a few other distros) myself since version 5.1. I've run
Linux at home exclusively for almost 3 years. This isn't a situation
where I'm a newbie or MS fanatic. I'm known in my school as *the* Linux
advocate - responsible for making converts of almost all my students and
most of the school's IT department. Several of them sit in on my class
to pick up more info and have been waiting in the wings to take Red Hat
9 out for a spin.

There is a software problem with CD burning and it should probably be
bugzilla'd. I'll get to that later. First, I'm going to my mother's
house because she is asked me to upgrade her system to Red Hat 9 as
well. She's currently on 8.0 thanks to me.

Obviously, there are a few attitude problems around here too...

Cheers,

Chris Williams
