prelink bug?

I'm prelinking my system to try out this wonderful new toy, but while it's running, I noticed that the prelink program seems not to reap the exit status of ld-linux.so.2 when it gives the error "Dependency tracing failed". As a result, the process tree looks like this:

14412 pts/4 S 0:01 \_ bash
15556 pts/4 S 0:00 | \_ [su]
15559 pts/4 S 0:00 | \_ -bash
15677 pts/4 R 0:21 | \_ prelink -am
19517 pts/4 Z 0:00 | \_ [ld-linux.so.2 <defunct>]
19519 pts/4 Z 0:00 | \_ [ld-linux.so.2 <defunct>]
19521 pts/4 Z 0:00 | \_ [ld-linux.so.2 <defunct>]
19522 pts/4 Z 0:00 | \_ [ld-linux.so.2 <defunct>]
19523 pts/4 Z 0:00 | \_ [ld-linux.so.2 <defunct>]
.... <snip a bunch more of those>

Seems like a pretty simple bug? I don't even know if it's worth a bugzilla entry. Thought I'd ask to see if anyone else can confirm that behavior...
