RE: Optical mouse bounces around screen

I never had this problem, and at home I used 8 (until last night, that is). I
told it it was a Generic 3-button USB mouse, as this made the scroll wheel
work (the MS Intellimouse setting never did, even though I thought it was
compatible).

Subject: Optical mouse bounces around screen

Hi,

I have recently bought a Logitech Optical mouse, and it works great
apart from it tends to wonder/bounce around the screen a lot (all
desktops or window managers), which if I'm trying to do click on one
app, leads me to click on another one, or worse close the current window
(depending upon where it feels like going).

Has anyone else had these sort of problems, its the same in 8.0 as well
as 9, I was hoping it could just be a config change in my XF86Config
file, but I'm not sure what to enter, as I cannot find anything on the
net about any extra setting for them.

cheers in advance

Mark
