Everything Upgrade Fails

I used the upgrade option to go from 8.0 to 9 and decided to use "Choose
which packages to upgrade". I then selected everything, because I wanted the
equivalent of an "install everything" fresh install. It kept telling me that
it could not copy the image & that I was probably out of space, even though
what it was installing was only 4.1GB & I have 10.5GB free on my HDD.

Does anyone know what might have caused this & (more importantly) how I can
install everything else? The little Package Manager utility doesn't do it,
even if you go into details (for example it left out gkrellm & zsh - which I
know are on the CD). Thanks.

Jason
