SWAPON

I share a PC between W2K and LINUX RH v8.

I've just re-partitioned a harddrive from the W2K side which added an additional logical drve before one the swap drive on that physical drive. Now
when I'm booting a command
SWAPON /dev/hda7
is issued and it isn't the LINUX swap which is now hda8.

Where is the SWAPON command being issued.

Incidentally changed FSTAB to use hda8 instead of hda7 and it made no difference

Thanks
