No I didn't, but I created one.

ln -sv /dev/scd0 /dev/cdrom (as "root")

There was no cdrom-related entry in my /etc/fstab file (since there was
no CD-ROM drive present at installation time). I added the following:

/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 automount 0 0

Is the above correct? Can you, please, post the relevant line of your
own /etc/fstab file, so that I can compare with my version?
