Back to the latest redhat kernel (when the next one comes out)? That should be reasonably easy, you managed to compile the module once already. Back to 2.4.20? You'll probably need to post some more info on what happens when you try and boot. But you know what I always say: If it ain't broke, don't fix it! As a side note, sometimes you "can" use a module built for an earlier kernel in a newer kernel.
