You have an rpm on the CD? Mine has none, though it talks about the 
included rpm in the readme file. 

In any case, you must have the kernel source for the target kernel to 
build any kernel module. By modifying the makefile slightly, you can even 
build the module for the new kernel while still running the old kernel.
