There is a good reason the cursor changes to a skull and crossbones. ;) The xkill man page tells you that the command is dangerous: DESCRIPTION Xkill is a utility for forcing the X server to close connections to clients. This program is very dangerous, but is useful for aborting programs that have displayed undesired windows on a user's screen. - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+C/U/n/07WoAb/SsRAuHxAKCHiKz5cCbH2OlhZ/4vRFsXyOVHyQCfa7QV mgRDlehwPpqdaT6IdRqPTfU= =W9qS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Psyche-list mailing list Psyche-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
