ethernet module options (FDX-100)

I need to force 100-FDX option on my 3c905 nic. I tried adding

options 3c59x 0x204

to /etc/modules.conf, but it doesn't seem to work.

I tried manually

/sbin/modprobe -v 3c59x options=0x204

This appears to have worked.

How do I get this to happen automatically at boot? It looks like the
syntax I used in /etc/modules.conf was not correct?
